The NDHAN serves as a communication network among state and local public health agencies, healthcare providers, hospitals and emergency management officials. Established through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the NDHAN is part of the North Dakota Department of Health's Emergency Preparedness and Response program.

Bed Availability reporting change 3-24-15 (3/24/2015)
Effective immediately, it is no longer necessary to submit information on bed availability into HC Standard on a daily basis. In the event that circumstances change, we may again ask that this information be updated. If you have any questions or concerns related to this, please contact Ruth Hursman, Hospital Preparedness Division Director, at 701-328-2748.
